Born 1953, studied business administration at the University of Trier with focus on organization and marketing and earned his doctorate about information and communication in organizations. He is specialized in cost accounting, investment, financing, controlling and quality management. Since 2006 he acts as a consultant for FIBAA in accreditation of the dual business management studies. Prof. Dr. Welter teaches at the HdWM in "Management and Corporate Governance" and "Consulting and Sales Management."
