In this session, participants will learn the essentials of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and understand how ERP systems support business processes, especially in marketing and sales. They will learn how to use an ERP system for sales processes and for sales controlling. The topics include:
•Fundamentals of Enterprise Resource Planning
•Market overview of ERP systems
•Client / server computing
•System architecture and integration model
•Metadata management and data dictionary
•Company data, company function and company organization model
•Introduction to the SAP ERP system
•Customizing of the system
•Working with the modules Sales & Distribution, Financial Accounting, Controlling and Materials Management
•Mapping of business processes in the ERP system
